Yeah i just cant see the love for 5 or 6 in anyway. 4 was a fun action game, but easy even on hard. Stopped feeling like resident evil at 4. First 2 were epic for me 3 was still fun but more of what woukd be considered dlc today

FFXV selling so well reminds me of how RE:5 sold incredibly well. Both are pretty bad games that damaged their brand, but I can see many a brainless exec learning all the wrong lessons from their success.

final fantasy 7 is still one of the best games i have played, but the later ones are not as good but the gaming space as a whole has grown. FF14 is still a baller game tho best MMO I have played and probably the best Final Fantasy story in any FF game.

I still think it's ridiculous to consider FFXI and FFXIV to be "main" games. They're MMO's which is a completely different kind of game. They should be spin-off or at least not a main numbered game. If anything goes, then Tactics should have been a main game too, and Dissidia should have been too. Not that I'm against MMO's being in the series (I used to play WOW a lot). Just shouldn't be considerd a "follow up" of the previous 10/12 installaments.

FF8 is on top 5, while FF9 is on the lower end. Yet, FF9 is the next to get a remake. FF9 is already near perfect on it's own, what it really needs is just a remaster. But FF8 has a lot of potential if it gets a Remake. But not the same treatment as FF7 remake, (I mean don't make it a sequel)

FFIX was/is so underrated. I loaded my copy to a friend, then while they were playng it, I wanted to play it again, so I bought anoyher copy. Also, FFXV is overrated. I played through the story and never played it again. When I moved overseas, i literally tossed it in the bin.
